Ralph Scoccimaro was born in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1954 and attended school in the New Jersey public school system and later in the Miami area. After high school, Ralph served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a Special Communications Operator attached to the Naval Security Group Activity. Upon release from active duty, he received his Bachelor's Degree in English in 1980 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 1983, he received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA. He is a member of the Georgia, California and District of Columbia Bar Associations and maintains membership in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; Georgia Trial Lawyers Association; the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Court for Federal Claims. He has achieved great success in the State and Federal courts, and has secured a number of substantial verdicts and settlements (in excess of One Million dollars) in personal injury cases (automobile/tractor-trailer accidents), workers' compensation (on-the-job accidents), and wrongful death cases. He has also been successful in representing active duty service members in military courts and is also the preferred choice of many police officers and medical doctors. Ralph was recently appointed Associate Judge for the Municipal Court of Albany, Georgia and decides a wide variety of misdemeanors and traffic offenses. Ralph is fluent in Spanish and maintains a wide and varied clientele. His practice focuses on defending the rights of victims regardless of race, color or nationality.
