Alexander is a 1986 graduate of Amherst College, with a B.A. in English, cum laude, and a 1990 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. He has been practicing in the personal injury area over the past thirteen years. Prior to that time and after graduating from law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Asa D. Kelley, Jr.; Chief Judge, Dougherty Judicial Circuit, Albany, Georgia. Alexander derives great pleasure from his law practice and from helping his clients obtain justice in the causes he is prosecuting. A native of Australia who speaks French, his legal interest lies mainly in premises liability cases, motor vehicle collision cases, products liability cases, trucking litigation, and medical malpractice cases. He is accustomed to handling a large volume of cases at any given time but most enjoys working on complex litigation and helping the "under dog" win against long odds. While in law school, Alexander had two legal articles published, both in the area of pesticides law. Legal writing and research is another area of his practice which he finds most rewarding. His loving and supporting wife, Caryl, works as a librarian in Albany, Georgia. Her proficiency in computerized research and the internet has expanded his resources in doing legal research. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two-year old son, traveling, gardening, and appreciating art, literature and music.
